Meet the potters
Treston Holmes
Treston Holmes is an experienced potter who has been honing his skills in for over 50 years. He is known for the wide variety of designs and skills he uses in his work.
Fiona Holmes
Fiona Holmes has been learning about clay from her father and using clay to create sculptures for over 30 years.
Fiona retired from education in 2015 to focus on building a gallery and home studio with her father.
Our News
Our gallery is temporarily closed to visitors
We are busy building a new pottery studio and gallery, which will give us improved spaces to make and show our work.
We will also have a dedicated space for learning, experimenting and making with clay.
We hope to reopen in September 2027, provided the stuff of life doesn’t get in the way!
We’re not making any promises, but our fingers and toes are firmly crossed.

About Us
Kenley Studio and Art Gallery
Kenley is the home of the Holmes Pottery. This pottery was established in 2016 having moved from Kilve in Somerset where Treston had his pottery for over 40 years. This new space is now home to Treston and his daughter Fiona who create, make and sell from their home.
