Day 100: 100 Pots in 100 Days

Day 100: 100 Pots in 100 Days

Diary

My last pot on my last day. I have now thrown 177 pots in total and earned over £1000 for SANHS.

I turned a pot and then threw two pots and then I went for a lovely walk!!! Happy dog!!

The 100 (141 in reality and not counting the ones that failed) Pots in 100 Days has been an amazing experience. I am pleased I completed it and I have been on a real high all afternoon.

I will post as I finish the pots so that I can share them as they get glazed or finished. I will post occasionally on the Kenley Arts FB Page, the Kenley Website Page about my progress.

The draw will be held in February- watch this space

Life is good and thank you for following me.

Here is the poster for the event I am talking at to celebrate the end of the 100 Pots in 100 Days Challenge.

Research

So I had a little look at what to do if you are concerned that you may have got grease on the pots. The only thing to do is to refile and I think I might need to as lots of people held the pots during SAW. I will wait though until after the event on the 16th as I do not want to have to fire again. I will then have a no touch policy unless you are wearing gloves! I have some cotton gloves now to hold pots that are bisque fired.
