So I spent today sorting out the blog so I can concentrate on the pots and getting ready for a firing. I would love to have at least one lot of pots fired by the time the talk comes around. this will be just to give everyone an idea of what the pots might look like.
I am still going to throw a pot every day until the 100 pots is over on Friday. Only 3 days and 7 hours left before the challenge closes.
I asked about money today and we have made over £1000. It is hard to identify exactly how much is associated just with this as people donated into SANHS for the website as well as donating directly to this event. I think that we can all have a little smug moment and it is not finished yet!
We have until the end of February so I have every intention of trying to get even more funds into the coffers.
People ask me if I am going to sell any of the pots and I don’t think I am. There is something very special about the first 100 pots I have made. I don’t think I am going to be a good seller of my own wares. The good ones (or the ones that mark a step change in improvement) I want to keep and the ones that are not good I don’t want out there with my name on them. So I am stuffed really! A hoody house full.
I am now off to throw that pot and to sort the pots into numerical order and make sure I have a proper photograph.
