Day 59: 100 Pots in 100 Days

So today was a day of photographs and sorting to try and keep myself on track. I managed to put a file sorting application on the website which will allow me to sort my folders into 10 folders. With so many pots I am now getting confused.

I then photographed all of the pots with their numbers and discovered a few were in the wrong order.

My mum came and looked at my work. It is something special when your parents visit. Mum is 80 this year, Dad was 80 last year and I am so proud of both of them.

So today I was still trying to make those cups. I am making a few to try and practice handles and decoration on them. I find I am reticent, with the better shapes, to decorate so the more I have I hope the more confident I will be. I made a coffee mug today – nothing to do with the SANHS collection but more to do with the cold and wanting a coffee!

Tomorrow I go to Glastonbury for a talk on the Donyatt Pottery. Very excited!

I signed up to support law on Ecocide – very proud moment.
