Today was the last day of 10 Parishes and we had lots of visitors all interested in the 100 Pots. They seemed fascinated by the collections that SANHS has and wanting to learn more about it. I felt inspired to write.
I turned yesterdays jugs and todays pots but in my excitement forgot to video one of the pots being made and also to photograph the pots before they were turned. I got nearly as excited by the fact that tomorrow I will make my 100th pot. Not bad really. My one disappointment is that I now have three jugs so I can no longer say – nice pair of jugs and laugh heartily.
As promised I took some photographs of the gallery which I will show you and the new pots. I think Day 59 is my favourite pot so far. It has wonky and arty elements. It also came out of complete disaster!
Tomorrow I have a rest day and then on Tuesday I go to Glastonbury to look at the rural life museum.
