Day 32: 100 Pots in 100 Days

Day 32: 100 Pots in 100 Days

Diary

A day spent making with the kiln cooling down beside me as my fathers pottery cools after a stoneware glaze. We were worried that the elements in the kiln would not hold out but they did. We need to book the kiln doctor!

So today I am showing you this little pot and turned and decorated yesterdays pots. This is proving to be a bit of a routine. As this is the first bottle I made I am quite proud of it.

We brought up a large amount of clay to wedge as we are getting through it at a rate. We might need to go on a buying spree.

I have also been learning about hashtags. Strange things that need to be attached to twitter feeds and facebook posts to get more people visiting your page.

These are the hashtags I am using:

Don’t forget we are at the Wiveliscombe Street Market on Sunday 8th September at The Bear and that the 10 Parishes Festival starts on Saturday 7th so we are open from 11am until 6pm. We will be at the Wiveliscombe Street Market although dad will be here, manning the gallery, just in case people want to visit us here.
